The MGI Change Vector (MGI-CV) is a directional and predictive indicator that conveys the direction and magnitude of change in business momentum for a tech company. It is expressed as a percentage (i.e., +50%). A large, positive MGI-CV indicates a positive change in company economics and anticipates improved profitability and cash flow. A negative MGI-CV precedes a decline in company profitability. The larger the company, the more important is the magnitude and direction of the MGI-CV.
