MGI360 RatingsRATING UPDATE: We are upgrading the MGI 360 Rating of BillingPlatform from 57 to 59 and maintain a POSITIVE outlook. 
OPINION: Company has made tangible progress in winning large global competitive deals and converting these wins into live implementations. BillingPlatform business organization and marketing efforts have matured, benefiting from an expanded management team and partnerships while company visibility has increased. Product score improved from 13.45 to 13.50. Management score rose from 12.60 to 13.13, reflecting several strong talent additions in sales, marketing, partnerships and finance. Channels score is up from 8.31 to 8.49 reflecting growth, improved productivity, and new partner relationships. Strategy score improved from 10.79 to 12.31. Finance score remains unchanged at 12.07. The company is growing in high double digits while operating just below break-even. Detailed rating is provided in the attachment below.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION: BillingPlatform is an extensible and configurable meta-data-based platform for Agile Monetization. Company technology addresses many of the pillar disciplines of Agile Monetization Platforms such as billing, revenue management, catalog and pricing management among others. BP has its roots in telecom billing and has expanded into a broad set of industries such as high-tech, media, transportation, and energy. The firm is evolving from being a technology-focused start-up to a more multi-faceted organization. In 2017 the company secured a funding commitment for $18 million from Columbia Capital. Company has 50+ customers with all but five in production.
