MGI Research announces that its 2012 SaaS Innovators Summit will be held in San Francisco, CA on Nov 13 2012 at the top floor of the Transamerica Tower.

Hosted by MGI Research and sponsored by BTIG and NXT Capital, the SaaS Innovators Summit is an invitation-only event that will give attendees a chance to hear CEOs of up-and-coming SaaS and cloud software firms present their companies and their vision of the future of SaaS and cloud applications. The conference will explore the growth, opportunity and risk scenarios for cloud applications and cover topics such as:

  • What are the new broad and niche markets in SaaS?
  • What are the innovative business and pricing models in SaaS?
  • What are the limits to SaaS applications?
  • Can incumbent software giants catch up in SaaS?
  • How are the economics of SaaS companies evolving?
  • How do valuations of SaaS companies compare?

The focus of the conference is on innovation in SaaS, on emerging, next generation Cloud Software companies and new cloud computing opportunities. In addition to presentations by tech company CEOs, attendees will hear independent, un-biased perspectives from senior MGI Research industry analysts, Chief Information Officers and get a chance to interact with a unique mix of IT executives, investors and SaaS industry practitioners. The afternoon will conclude with a panel of CIOs from companies such as Rambus, WindRiver (Intel), MedeAnalytics and SunPower - giving their perspectives on SAP, Salesforce.com, Oracle, SaaS spending, and their plans for cloud applications in 2013. Conference sessions include presentations from companies such as Coupa, FinancialForce.com, MetraTech, and FolderWave among others. The event will feature MGI Research’s “21 Conference” format – each CEO is allotted 21 minutes – 7 minutes to present his company, 7 minutes for an interview with a senior MGI analyst and 7 minutes for live audience Q&A.
