We just launched a new mobile apps survey aimed at helping enterprises identify best practices, strategies, budget approaches and organizational methods for developing mobile apps.

Unlike many other surveys in mobile, this study attempts to steer clear of trying to measure mobile device market share or if RIM is still alive. Much of that is now irrelevant to large enterprise developing mobile apps aimed at a broad cross-section of users with every possible kind of device/carrier combination. We try to look beyond the device noise and see what separates companies that are best in class in mobile from the average. We expect the results to be packed with tons of practical information for those tasked with taking their companies mobile strategies forward.

Details about the survey can be found here.

All survey participants will receive a copy of the results. Because of its metric orientation, the results of the survey can immediately help many organizations benchmark themselves against industry averages and best-in-class.

Also, for every completed survey, a $5 charitable contribution will be made to Habitat for Humanity.
